For similar to Italian Cypress, there is a less well known scent, Floris 1962 , that many argue is better smelling than the Tom Ford. It's a simple fresh and spicy scent. Anyway. what are your thoughts on YSL? And does anyone know of a similar fragrance to Live Jazz? Closest I've found is Guerlain Pour Homme Intense. The obvious substitute is Tsar, which is a great fragrance in itself but no cheaper than vintage Jazz. Both come up pretty regularly on eBay so neither are ridiculously expensive. YSL Jazz Prestige is noticeably sharper and spicier than the original Jazz, having sampled the original only yesterday. It's certainly similar, or at least an homage, to the original released five years prior.
